"You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep a record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experiences. "

Thanksgiving highlights

We have had a nice Thanksgiving holiday so far. Here are few photo highlights from our day. They're a bit lacking but at least the day is recorded!

Our little Pilgrim complete with bonnet from her school party
Preparing the feast
with a great helper
Carving the bird
Enjoying our feast
Good old olive play
Doing a thanksgiving activity together
Attempting to pluck the bird (he was more interested in tearing it off the wall!
In between things we enjoyed watching the parade on TV, searching for the paper (had to go to two grocery stores and three gas stations to find one!), searching the ads and plotting our Friday morning shopping. We had a nice day together and hope you are enjoying the holiday weekend!

Did you enjoy the holiday of just you and your little family? That was what we did last year and it was really nice not having tons of chaos of relatives and what, but of course still missed family. Cute Thanksgiving craft too.
