Hit the road at 8:30am local time.
The kids resumed playing. Notice The Little Man playing cars on the big book of cars. Man does he love cars!
The St. George/Arizona border area is so beautiful! All the red rock everywhere you look. Love it! 
We drove down “The Strip” as we passed through Las Vegas and kept on going. I’ve got to admit this city does nothing for me.
Here’s a travel tip: Way back when we took our first long haul trip with The Daughter we bought this lap desk. 
It’s wasn’t a lot of money and has worked for many years but do you know what I discovered works even better? A jelly roll pan! It prevented the pencils/toys/stuff from rolling off, provided plenty of space to play, worked great with the magnet paper dolls, didn’t cost a thing, and when we where done I washed them and put them right back in the kitchen!
We took the 15, to the 91, to the 55 to the Katella exit, took Katella to Harbor and then Harbor to our hotel like pros. We are that awesome! I loved not having to take the 5 at all. I loath that parking lot of a freeway.
We traveled from St. George, UT to Anaheim, CA. Making a stop in Baker, CA (gas & lunch. Weird town) and Hesperia, CA (potty). We traveled 389 more miles.
Upon checking in we found that Costco Travel (loved them btw) had upgraded us to a club room. They also provided us with free hot breakfast each morning, free parking & two $25 gift cards (one to the park & one to Quiznos in the lobby) due to when booking our vacationl we had been told that the hotel renovations would be completed weeks before our trip yet the hotel was no where near complete. 
Once we got things settled into our room we head to the Disneyland Hotel where we had reservations at Goofy’s Kitchen (a character meal). While waiting for our table we wondered around the hotel lobby.
The restaurant is a Buffet. Anyone that knows me knows that I HATE buffets. The thought of eating food that has been sitting out for who knows how long and the germs that are sure to be lurking from people using there hands instead of the tongs makes me ill! However this place wasn’t that way. The food was hot not because of the red heat lights above but because they where constantly replacing the food and even had attendants serving in some areas. I witnessed a kid grab a cookie with his hand & they pulled the entire basket. Very impressive Disney! Not only was the food delicious the Disney characters came around table to table to chat with the kids and pose for pictures.

Pluto
Minnie Mouse 
She was one of the few characters The Little Man chose to interact with let alone give a kiss on the nose too.
Mulan
Mulan mistakenly thought The Daughter was her good friend Aurora. Of course she thought it was super cool to get mistaken for Sleeping Beauty. She made Mulan fill better by telling her that she does have blond hair like Aurora and she is a sleepy head. YOu can always count on her to make you feel better when you make a mistake.
Jasmine
She invited The Daughter to come dance with her on the dance floor. Yet another Magical Disney moment!
And Goofy
After the kids had eaten way too many treats and had seen all the characters we headed to Downtown Disney to wonder the shops.
To finish off the night we went and watched Toy Story 3 in 3D at the AMC in Downtown Disney. The kids loved it. I’m pretty sure they didn't moved a inch through the entire movie. 
Another Fabulous vacation day was had!
