Walked down to temple square after loading the car and checking out of the hotel. We wondered from building to building constantly shocked by the amount of beauty and detail that surrounded us.
We where touched by how peacefully the area was despite the hustle and bustle of the city being just on the other side of the gates. Pretty amazing!
We enjoyed listening to the Missionaries talk to non-members. It was interesting to hear all the different questions they are asked and how the missionaries taught with great love. No question was ever a dumb question. Loved it!
We enjoyed seeing where all the missionaries where from. They each had a flag from their home country on their badge. Surprise at how many we did not know. Even more surprised at the amount of sister missionaries serving at temple square. Every where we went, every place we looked, there where smiling sisters eagerly waiting to serve and teach. What great examples!
The Daughter loved watching all the brides being photographed on the temple grounds. It was a crazy busy day, we saw 6 brides in the short time we spend walking outside. She decided that she wants to be married in this temple. 
Here are the kids in front of the LDS office building fountain. They loved that fountains could be found all around temple square. 
~A Family forever~
After wondering around for a few hours, we headed back to the car. It was hot & humid and the kids had had enough. We got lunch at Subway and then hit the freeway at 12:30 heading to St. George. Traveled 302 more miles today.
We arrived in St. George at 4:45pm and got checked into the hotel. At this point we where all tired and hungry so we enjoyed a early dinner at a local restaurant.
I was feeling horrible so we headed back to the hotel to take a quick nap before we went in search of the St. George Temple. 
I’m so glad we went! We had a great visit with a senior missionary couple and a sister missionary at the visitors center. We learning that the temple is actually build out of sandstone from the St. George area and that they made the temple white by making a white paste from gypsum & limestone that they “painted” on the entire temple to strengthen it. The strength, dedication and resourcefulness of the early saints is truly amazing.

After wondering around the temple grounds we headed back to hotel to crash for the night.
In the half a day we spent in St.George I really liked it. Maybe it will go on our “places we would like to live someday” list…..

I love seeing all the different temples. Temple Square is a great place. I love it.
