"You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep a record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experiences. "

Highlights from a fast trip home

*Seeing Mindy & Melanie (she was family less...very different)

*Celebrating someone special's birthday...

*Surprising my parent by just showing up at their house

*My daughter having a sleepover with my Mom & Cody (she LOVED it & is already asking when she can do it again!)

*Having dinner at Olive Garden with everyone late at night...the later it gets the more fun we all become! (thank you Val & Duane, we really appreciate it!)

*Listening to the Beatles & talking lots while traveling. We always have the best conversations when we are traveling AND the kids are sleeping.

*My daughter's favorite Beatles song for this trip was "Let it Be" (Naked version). Very good taste! : )

* Getting a new purse & Randy getting a new wallet (we squeezed in a stop by the mall sat. night)

* Talking lots, laughing more, & overall forgetting about life for a little while.

Now we are back home, Randy is back to work, & the list of things to do is long. We hope you have all had a good holiday weekend. : )

Sorry for the lack of pictures...it was such a fast trip I didn't even think to take any. If anyone has some from the weekend please share! : )
