Happy Thanksgiving


We have had a good day & hope that you have also. This is our first Thanksgiving that we have not been with family or had plans and it actually has been really nice contrary to what the picture is displaying. Evedently my son did not want to be in the picture but have no worries...he was fine moments later. As you can see we had a yummy turkey dinner this afternoon, we also watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade over and over again (thanks to DVR) and thought about the things that we are (or should be) grateful for. My daughter was so excited for this day that at 7 this morning she was already dressed and was waking up her brother (through the monitor I heard "wake up brother...Happy Thanksgiving...wake up...we get to eat Turkey and watch parade" at which point my son started crying & she got mad that he wont look at her and so my day began) I love the excitment she has brought to our house and the joy she finds in the holidays even if she got upset that she could not have turkey for breakfast. I'm not any fun...I know : )
