"You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep a record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experiences. "

Gingerbread house fun...

We have had another busy day filled with the normal errands, appointments, & getting things ready for Christmas. To give the kids (& adults) a break from all of the craziness, my friend Randi & I got together to decorate gingerbread houses together. We cheated a bit & used graham crackers, after all, the kids don't carry if the are actually gingerbread...they don't even know what gingerbread is! While the kids thought it was more fun to eat all the goodies (I am sure that Randi' son is going to have a horrible stomach ache tonight...He ate SO much frosting...yuck!), we had a blast. We have been so blessed to make such great friends & will be very sad when they move this may (But I am super excited that for them & there new adventures).

I promise her kids are very adorable but I didn't want to put their faces on here since they are not mine and all. : )
