"You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep a record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experiences. "

Money, that's what she wants....that, and dance.

The Daughter has a job. I know, I know, how many seven year old have one? Not many do but she does and she loves it! It all started when SHE decided she needed a job to help fund our trip to Disneyland last summer. Thankfully, her Grandma & Papa gladly "employed" her as a cleaning helper at their store. She can be found dusting and fronting shelves once a week now. She loves it and looks forward to "Work Day" all week long.

So with this job she has earned a lot of money. Some she puts in savings, some she pays tithing with and the rest is hers to spend on pretty much anything she wants (with in reason). Rather than wasting the money on toys and such, she chose to spend it on dance lessons!  She's so wise! We shopped around and found the perfect little studio for her. And man, is she enjoying it.

Instead of doing a big recital at the end of the year, the studio does performances through out the year at various places. So far this summer they've preformed twice. Every time I think of these little girls performing it makes me giggle! Seriously, the slightest little things can distract them yet they are still having a blast together. SO CUTE!
